Many Vanguard players are being left confused as their game is crashing when using one particular Operator. The devs are aware of the issue, and a fix is on the way.
Call of Duty: Vanguard has many different Operators to choose from including the heroic Arthur Kingsley and Lady Nightingale herself, Polina Petrova.
But players can increase their XP earned by completing challenges for all the different Operators, instead of maxing one out and sticking with them.
However, it seems like one of them is glitched, and it's a long-standing issue that the devs are aware of and trying to fix.
Players that are fond of the Daniel Yatsu Operator will need to be cautious about which skin they select before going into matches.

Since the game's launch, if players opt for his alternative skins, then it will cause hard crashes of Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Despite many players knowing about the issue, not all do, and Reddit user Dxnwa sought to point this out.

The devs are well aware of the glitch in Vanguard and have a card on the game's official Trello page to say that a fix is on the way.

The Trello card says: "Operators: Using Daniel's alternative skin will crash your game." Under the card's labels, it says that a fix is "scheduled," but we don't know when that will be – possibly when Season 1 drops and the integration to welcome Caldera begins
Typically, we'll be sure to update once this patch drops, and it should make Daniel Yatsu's alternate skins usable.

Treyarch returned to develop the Zombies mode for Call of Duty: Vanguard, continuing the Dark Aether storyline. Easter Eggs are one of Zombies' most popular aspects, so does Der Anfang have a hidden Main Quest?
Vanguard players have been disappointed with Treyarch's latest WW2 Zombies experience, blasting its lack of traditional features. However, it still offers the Zombie-slaying action that players have come to expect, and is a great place to level up weapons ahead of Warzone Pacific's Caldera.
All of Black Ops Cold War's maps, such as Firebase Z and Forsaken, had a complicated Easter Egg to complete, so players are wondering if Der Anfang includes a Main Quest.
Here's everything we know about Vanguard Zombies' Der Anfang Main Quest Easter Egg.
Does Vanguard Zombies Der Anfang have a Main Quest Easter Egg?

So although you can slay Zombies to your heart's content, there aren't any ulterior missions or objectives to complete. However, Treyarch have confirmed that a Main Quest will arrive.
Vanguard Zombies Main Quest Easter Egg release date
In a blog post detailing Vanguard Zombies, Treyarch teased that the Main Quest would begin in Season 1, but will be released in stages.
Treyarch revealed that when Season 1 launches, "new Zombies content & features will begin to roll out in Vanguard, including a new Objective, additional Covenants, new weapons, Zombies Season Challenges, holiday-themed updates, and more."
They continued, "Players will also encounter some other surprise elements later in Season One that will set the stage for our upcoming Main Quest."
"This Main Quest will be tied to the arrival of an unexpected ally after Season One," Treyarch concluded. "Which will further expand the narrative of the Dark Aether, and reveal more details about the characters and entities that players will have encountered thus far."

Treyarch have been playing their cards close to their chest so far, without a clear explanation of exactly what will be arriving and when.
However, in Warzone's Caldera map reveal, the developers said players can soon "expect to learn about the two free functional weapons, new Operator, Zombies content, Multiplayer modes, and two maps all coming on December 8." So, we're likely to know more about Vanguard Zombies' next stage in the coming days.

Crazy Vanguard glitch lets players levitate above the map
Since launch, several glitches and bugs have been discovered in Vanguard. One of them takes players soaring into the sky.

The return of an iconic Call of Duty glitch is giving Vanguard players a broken line of sight on enemies as they take to the sky.
Vanguard hasn't felt like the smoothest gaming experience since its launch on November 5. Players have been quick to discover some game-breaking exploits that make Vanguard nearly unplayable. Although most issues have been addressed through recent patches, some still remain.
One of the issues yet to be fixed is the elevator glitch. After popping up weeks ago, its relevance diminished as other glitches came to prominence. However, this new clip showing the advantageous position players can get themselves in has renewed interest in the glitch.
This particular glitch traces its roots back to Modern Warfare 2. The glitch sees players ascend straight up into the sky emulating an elevator, hence the glitch's name. There's no doubt the devs are going to have a look at something this game-breaking.
As the player ascends, their view of the map changes to a top-down perspective. This gives players a clear view of all of the areas on the map including enemy players stomping around.

In the past, we've seen this glitch occur on the Oasis map as well as Sub Pens. Recently it has also popped up on close-quarters map Decoy. Odds are this glitch is accessible on just about every Vanguard map.
This clip perfectly explores the incredible advantage someone gains after rising to the sky. The player is equipped with a Sniper Rifle making long-range kills supremely easy to earn. In addition, the small nature of the map means that this player can practically see every enemy player who isn't in a building.
To make matters worse, they are playing Search & Destroy. This makes the high ground advantage more impactful. With one life per round, players cannot respawn and eliminate the player in the sky. There probably has never been an easier way to guard S&D bomb sites.

With Vanguard Season 1 around the corner, Sledgehammer must be working hard to ensure a smooth rollout. Given the mixed player reaction to in-game issues since launch, a lot is riding on the success of Season 1.
There's no doubt that Vanguard players will receive a major patch addressing the current glitches running rampant.
